You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior for Lockheed Martin's PAC-3 Missile and Launcher Evolutionary Development and Transition to Production programs, based in Arlington, TX. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services provided by suppliers, and you will play a key role in leading quality initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for performing scheduled product source inspections, first articles, and product line validations at suppliers, as well as providing internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions. You will also participate in supplier failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Perform scheduled product source inspections, first articles, and product line validations at suppliers, as outlined by AS9102 and applicable company and industry standards
- Provide internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions tied to Supplier Corrective Action Requests
- Support Supplier requests tied to program requirements, interface with customer needs and program management activities
- Participate in supplier's failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activities
- Perform on-going surveillance of supplier's conformance to Lockheed Martin requirement documents and provide written weekly reports
- Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified, and interface with suppliers daily
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Subcontracting, Program Management, suppliers, and customer to ensure quality standards and program objectives are implemented and being met throughout the development and testing of new hardware
- Implement quality requirements, design/process risk reduction, monitor performance of suppliers, and support root cause investigation and corrective/preventative actions
- Develop program plans, support Material Review Board activities, and drive closure of nonconformance reports
- Provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters, support failure investigations, production planning reviews, and audit program and suppliers for conformance to requirements

Quality engineering experience in developing and reviewing quality requirements, standards, procedures, methods, work instructions, and control plans.
Experience performing Design/Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (D/PFMEA).
Experience in product development, design for manufacturing (DFM), and transition to production.
Demonstrated understanding of procedure compliance assessment, process audit, and product audit techniques.
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications and industry standards.
Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming product (Material Review Board).

Demonstrated understanding of AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
