Description:

The IT SIFMU & Risk department supports the development & testing needs of multiple DTCC core business lines including NSCC Risk, Clearing & Settlement, Equity Clearing, Wealth Management, Treasury Clearing etc. Lead Test Engineer is responsible for independently leading Test Engineering teams. You will be responsible for developing test plans and implementing those plans against the corresponding test procedures. He should also be accountable for the development of automation scripts, release, and maintenance of test procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure

Prepare, maintain, and execute automated test scripts

Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts

Review test cases / automation approach with stakeholder to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback

Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines

Construct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals

Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.

Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; manage and maintain environment and data.

Provide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases

Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered

Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation

Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately

Enable scalable, efficient test automation using AI to reduce manual effort, improve coverage, accelerate release cycles and detect defects earlier.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-6 years of related experience

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

Experience in Selenium Java with good hands on experience

Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.

Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries.

Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins

Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination

In depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes),

Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium.

Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins

Detailed understanding of smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testing

Requires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team and the ability to work independently, both individually and as part of a team.

Preferably from Market Risk domain

Experience and exposure to AI/ML based testing tools and ability to generate test cases from requirements using AI.

Implement self-healing automation frameworks.
