Quality Inspector Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform visual inspections on in-process and finished products. This role ensures materials meet quality standards and customer specifications before shipment. Key Responsibilities: Perform visual inspections on goods in process and finished products Approve or reject materials based on quality standards Identify defects or damage in materials and processes Document inspection results and create damage reports as needed Communicate issues with supervisors and customer service Release approved product for shipment in inventory systems Perform other quality-related duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and observation skills Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to learn and apply quality and industry standards Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Schedule: Full-time position, typically Monday-Friday, day shift. Evening or weekend work may be required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hickory, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
