This role involves applying Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies to drive organizational change and enhance patient safety, experience, and operational efficiency.

Job Summary

As a seasoned process improvement facilitator, you will manage complex projects from inception to implementation, coach teams on data analysis and performance management, and contribute to the development and delivery of training programs. Your expertise will support leaders and unit-based teams in adopting continuous improvement practices, fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead organization-wide process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing quality outcomes, patient safety, and financial goals.
  • Coach and support leaders and teams in data collection, analysis, and presentation.
  • Develop and deliver training curricula on performance improvement techniques.
  • Contribute to business development efforts for external training services.
  • Participate in regulatory and accreditation activities related to quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a Lean culture and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
  • Four to five years of experience in process improvement with a proven track record of successful project implementation.
  • Experience in healthcare consulting and training is desirable.
  • Training in High Reliability, Project Management, Change Management, or Human Centered Design is a plus.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.
  • LPN or RN credentials preferred but not mandatory.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in facilitating performance improvement teams using tools like PDSA, RCA, FMEA, and Rapid Cycle Improvement.
  • Strong project management and team facilitation skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop productive relationships and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competent in data analysis, visualization, and instructional presentation software.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, regulations, and accreditation is advantageous.
