Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano/Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

The Test Analyst will work side-by-side with development, DevOps, and QA teams to determine optimal test coverage and ensure high quality software is delivered. This role involves utilizing tools to automate test scripts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and maintaining robust frameworks to support iterative development. The ideal candidate will enhance testing capabilities with their technical aptitude and coding experience within a continuous improvement culture.

Responsibilities:

Test and deliverplex software requirements to aplish business oues

Ensure software meets functional, non-functional, andpliance requirements throughprehensive testing

Execute manual and automated tests

Report issues and defects with clear background information

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

2-4 years of experience with Selenium, Automation, and Java

Good knowledge of Java programming concepts with hands-on experience in writing code

Knowledge of the Software testing lifecycle and processes

Experience with testing API and UI based applications

Comfortable writing SQL queries

Experience with Agile tools (Jira)

Desired skills:

Desired knowledge in AI and its application to software testing

Lean Agile Certification

Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour
