Quality Control Inspector

Rightstone is looking for a Quality Control Inspector in Liberty, MO. The pay rate is $23/hr. For a 12-month contract, with a strong potential for renewal or conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

In this role, you will ensure that rupture discs and accessories meet rigorous documented guidelines. You ll be the gatekeeper of quality, overseeing everything from receiving raw materials to final inspections, ensuring every product meets national standards and customer specifications before it hits the field.

Work Schedule: 1st shift: 7 AM 3 PM OT available and weekend

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce consistent, high-quality products
• Develop, edit, and maintain CNC programs for production orders
• Maintain and update program files as required
• Read and interpret CAD prints and machining specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with CAD drawings and ISO 9001 standards
• Complete inspection records and documentation supporting ISO 9001 certification
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including checking oil and coolant levels
• Use machining tools and supplies correctly (inserts, drills, coolant, etc.)
• Clean and maintain machines and work areas
• Provide backup support to other departments as needed
• Participate in quality, safety, and training meetings
• Complete forms and documentation to support continuous process improvement
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on workload and business needs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Vocational training as a CNC Journeyman Machinist preferred
• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
• Strong CNC programming experience
• Solid understanding of machining theory and best practices
• Proficiency in math, calculations, and blueprint reading
• Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Lean manufacturing environments
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
