The Apple Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team dedicated to protecting the environment, health, and safety of our employees, contractors, customers, and the global communities where we operate. As a team member, you will be instrumental in program implementation, operational support, incident review and follow-up, and continuous improvement focused on supporting Corporate operations (research and development, services, projects, maintenance etc.) in Santa Clara Valley (SCV).We are seeking a skilled and collaborative EHS Operations professional to join our team as an EHS Engineer. The successful candidate will be focused on ensuring business groups receive an extraordinary level of service. They must be passionate about solving problems, possess excellent organizational skills, and communicate effectively with peers and external partners. Additionally, they must have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time, taking ownership of issues and tasks with an appropriate sense of urgency, and evaluating data to help guide business decisions.

Description

Description The EHS Engineer will provide EHS support to various Corporate team operations and manage regulatory compliance obligations in Apple owned/operated facilities. They will facilitate program coordination, perform building and lab inspections, support accident/incident investigations, schedule trainings and drills, and provide emergency response. Additionally, they will support and collaborate on food safety and sanitation procedures for Apples Caffe Macs retail restaurants and coffee bars. The role will conduct routine food facility inspections to determine compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and state and local laws. This role will will also educate chefs during routine visits on food safety and internal policies and procedures. The role will report to the SCV EHS Operations Manager.
