Sr. Process Quality Engineer - Manufacturing - Goleta, CA

You will be the Sr. Process Quality Engineer Manufacturing for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) SantaBarbara Focalplane Team. Our team is responsible for driving the highest standards of product quality across all manufacturing processes.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Sr. Process Quality Engineer Manufacturing you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems that ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of our missile and firecontrol hardware.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop & Execute Quality Plans Create comprehensive quality control plans, inspection criteria, and test methods for new and existing products.
• Process Audits & Inspections Perform internal audits, line walkthroughs, and realtime inspections to verify conformance to specifications and standards.
• Data Analysis & Trending Collect, analyze, and visualize quality data to uncover trends and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• CrossFunctional Collaboration Partner with design engineers, manufacturing supervisors, test teams, and program managers to resolve nonconformances.
• Continuous Improvement Leadership Lead rootcause investigations, develop corrective actions, and track effectiveness through metrics such as PFMEA and SPC.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (advanced degree a plus) with 5+years of experience in process or manufacturing or quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense.
Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, Python, etc.) and quality methodologies (SixSigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC). or equivalent combined education and experience.

- Strong problemsolving ability and experience leading rootcause investigations.

-Familiarity with aerospace standards and documentation requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse functional teams.
