JOB SUMMARY

The Corporate Quality Assurance Auditor schedules and assesses the Quality Management system of the company. This includes business processes including management and product realization processes, manufacturing processes, and specialized audits such as Repair Station, Digital Product Definition and Supply Chain audits. The Corporate Quality Assurance auditor needs to be well versed in the Quality Management System, create audit templates and reports, and lead a team of auditors. The auditor is also responsible to create and maintain a training program that yields qualified auditors. The Corporate Quality Assurance Auditor coordinates external audits with stakeholders such as AS9100 registrars, the Federal Aviation Administration, and customers.

Audits Quality Management System including management and product realization processes, manufacturing processes, and specialized audits such as Repair Station, Digital Product Definition audits.
Creates and maintains an audit schedule
Creates and maintains audit templates and reports
Lead a team of auditors
Create and maintain a training and mentorship program for auditors
Creates and maintains periodic audit performance reports for management visibility
Collects and analyzes performance data to support companywide metrics
Authors auditing documents, performs audits, and completes audit reports.
May support auditing of suppliers and corrective and improvement actions with suppliers.
Participates in companywide or site level corrective actions and improvement activities
Is a member of the training staff to perform site level and companywide training

This function will require travel to all BEI divisions in the United States and Mexico. The auditor will be familiar with corrective and improvement tools to analyze and implement corrections and improvements through the use of quality tools such as Process mapping, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, Kaizens, A3s, fishbones, root cause analysis etc. The Corporate Quality Assurance Auditor will interface with executive management and site level management.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:

Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent education and experience

Experience:

Minimum 2 years

Skills:

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Ability to understand requirements to assess whether the company is meeting them or not.

Probitas Authenticated AS9100 Leader Auditor accreditation required

ASQ Certification desired
