You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Assurance team. Our team is responsible for implementing and developing quality principles to ensure the highest standards of product and process quality.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for investigating nonconformance issues, driving continuous improvement, and partnering with crossfunctional teams to embed quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Interface with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering personnel.
- Investigate and resolve nonconformance issues through rootcause analysis and corrective action.
- Conduct audits, assessments, and technical evaluations to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, supply chain, and customers on qualityrelated matters.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity.

Bachelors degree or higher in a STEM related discipline or equivalent education and experience.Two or more years of related experience with a bachelor's degree.
Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance and must have at least an interim secret clearance to start.
2 years of quality manufacturing experience.
**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) background check to obtain approval to be an employee possessor (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.Experience with MS Office applications: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt or higher certification.
SAP experience a plus.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Mechanical or industrial engineering degree. Or Engineering degree in related, technical field.
VBA coding skills. (Excel)
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Quality discipline internship or DoD Industry internship.
Ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment.
