UNDERSTANDING

Warehouse Quality Control Technicians are responsible for inspecting ingredients, materials, and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable FDA regulations and company standards. Warehouse Quality Control Technicians inspect products before, during, and after production to ensure quality standards are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate Quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
  • Identify and analyze various raw materials through in-house testing and report results to Quality Assurance.
  • Review COA's to ensure all raw materials meet specifications.
  • Perform inspections on product packaged by a co-packer to ensure all product meets Albanese specifications.
  • Utilize inventory systems to change inventory statuses, review product specifications, and identify real-time information on the quantities and locations of inventory items.
  • Maintain and manage requests for all raw material and finished good retains.
  • Collect samples for third-party testing according to established procedures.
  • Maintain and review manufacturing records.
  • Verify calibration of equipment in accordance with company Quality procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Evaluate returned products to determine if product quality standards are met
  • Segregate nonconforming products and place on hold for evaluation.
  • Comply with all company Quality and Food Safety Standards
  • Assist in the preparation for customer and third-party inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
  • Regular and timely attendance.
  • Must have impeccable organizational skills and be detailed oriented
  • Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to analyze and interpret information.
  • Uses good time management and decision-making skills to assist key personnel in resolving incidents in real time.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with applicable break
  • Ability to pass industrial truck certification tests.

EDUCATION

  • Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
