The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing testing of all components, intermediates and finished goods in accordance with standard operating procedures, ensuring the required testing is performed to the highest degree of detail to ensure safety and consistency for BioLife's customers. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring all testing equipment is maintained in a calibrated state according to prescribed international standards. Duties and Responsibilities: 80-100 % of time Performs testing of all components, intermediates, and finished goods in accordance with standard operating procedures. Performs inspection of incoming raw materials and components. Must perform work in a timely fashion. Ensures all testing equipment remains in working order. Ensures all testing equipment is calibrated according to work instructions to international standards. Documents all work in accordance to work instructions and good documentation practices. Maintains all testing logs in a timely and accurate fashion. Performs all work by manufacturing timelines. Works with the Operations and Quality teams to continuously improve the quality environment. 0-20% of time Keeps work area and equipment cleaned, organized, and labeled. Reporting Relationships : This position reports to Manager of Operations Job Requirements: Strong working knowledge of basic mathematical analysis Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working within an ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems Understanding of basic testing and/or measuring equipment Experience managing or working within a batch traceable production system Mechanical aptitude necessary Strong attention to detail Able and willing to follow detailed instructions and SOPs without deviating Ability to keep and maintain a clean and orderly work environment High integrity Transparent communicator Job Specifications: High School Education Minimum of 1 year of quality inspection/Quality Control experience Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, location, and market competitive benchmarks. Individual pay within a level is determined by work location (including geographic pay zone region), job related skills, experience, education, and training.
