Position Overview:

The Quality Control Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the consistency, accuracy, and quality of project deliverables. This individual will supervise production processes and the performance of project copy editors, manage communication with key stakeholders, and oversee quality control for various deliverables and technical processes. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, and quality assurance skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-standard outputs in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the implementation of production processes and monitor the quality of work completed by project copy editors.
  • Serve as Webinar Production Task Lead.
  • Support the development of Synar form letters and communication with states tasks.
  • Manage and maintain the Consultant Database.
  • Ensure timely submission of deliverables.
  • Assist the Project Director in facilitating meetings, including taking notes when requested.
  • Schedule meetings and send out calendar invites.
  • Distribute meeting agendas at least 24 hours in advance and upload all materials to SharePoint.
  • Document and update all policies, including training materials.
  • Collaborate with the IT Specialist to support activities related to production oversight.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality control or editorial/production environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing databases and coordinating with project teams.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and virtual meeting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with federal deliverable standards is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing and analyzing information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
