THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST , Position Description Number PDD1819000 and is part of the WY 153rd Airlift Wing , Wyoming Air National Guard.

This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:
Consideration will be made from Areas 2, 4, and 6.

Area 2 : All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 4 : All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 6 : Current military service members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.

OR

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience in fields such as quality control, quality inspection, contracting and purchasing, supply and storage, industrial or production planning, research and engineering, maintenance, and test and evaluation that provided (1) familiarity with quality assurance or related work, (2) pertinent product or process knowledge and skill, (3) ability to interpret and apply contract requirements and engineering specifications, and (4) skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. In addition to the OPM IORs (Education or General Experience), specialized experience includes experience, education, or training involving a thorough knowledge of product or range of products involved, the manufacturing methods and techniques, special processes, test, and performance requirements; and skill in developing plans and programs. Experience possessed by an expert in specialization able to give technical direction to otherwise competent workers. Experience determining operations when difficult and questionable phases of malfunctions are found. Experience which required significant and concrete work accomplishments (i.e., special projects, working groups, or detailing assignments) involving interpersonal contacts in a quality assurance or related field. Experience in dealing with management principles and supervisory responsibility for the function required by type of position to be filled and the organization involved.

NOTE: Education or General and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from MM/YYYY - MM/YYYY (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.

COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS:
Must possess or be eligible to crossflow, into AFSC 2A300, Fighter Aircraft Maintenance Chief Enlisted Manager.

The selected candidate is eligible for crossflow, if moving from one 2A position to another 2A position, regardless of previous base, airframe, or experience.

DRIVER'S LICENSE:
Must possess a valid driver's license. You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
