- Conduct in-process and final product inspections and clearances on the production floor to ensure consistency.
- Identify product defects or potential issues and determine resolutions.
- Analyze lab or usability test results to identify defects and prevent persistence.
- Maintain detailed records of product defects or manufacturing issues to aid in accountability and error reporting.
- Notify supervisors or plant managers of issues or defect reports to assist in decision-making about manufacturing processes.
- Support process improvements throughout testing and quality assurance processes.
- Suggest improvements to address potential systemic problems found during quality control.
- Documentation and laboratory skills.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree within a scientific discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, laboratory, document control, or related fields.
- Proficiency in chemistry and biology.
- Experience with data entry, SOPs, and GMP.
- Preferred one or more years of experience in a regulated environment or other job-related experience.
The work environment is a clean, regulated laboratory setting where quality control review is conducted (no testing is performed in this role). Initial training is 3-4 weeks, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM. The eventual schedule will be Wednesday through Saturday, 10 PM to 8:30 AM, with a temporary schedule likely Sunday through Wednesday, 1 PM to 11:30 PM.
