Primary Objective:

SkyWater is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team to support Wafer Services and Advanced Technology Services in Kissimmee, FL. The role will be responsible for the definition, implementation, and improvement of Quality-related practices and procedures for the organization, principally as they relate to manufacturing process development and the associated business processes. The role will work closely with fellow employees and customers to ensure products and processes meet specifications and standards.

Major Areas of Accountability :

  • Designing, implementing, and improving a calibration system compliant to ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Performing internal process audits to identify gaps and nonconformities for both Wafer Services and Advanced Technology Services processes.
  • Initiating and completing corrective actions to address gaps and nonconformities using a structured problem-solving methodology.
  • Communicating internal audit results and corrective actions through verbal and written means as well as published internal memos.
  • Assisting with preparation for external ISO 9001 certification audits by closing corrective actions and developing calibration and internal audit reports.
  • Assisting with preparation for future certifications by performing gap analyses of the existing Quality Management System (QMS) with focus on calibration and internal audit processes.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education. BS in a STEM discipline (Electrical, Mechanical Engineering; Mathematics, Science, other) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of Quality Assurance experience in a regulated environment or 3 years semiconductor and/or advanced aging manufacturing experience.
  • Skills:
    • Data analysis including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Statistical Process Validation/Qualification.
    • Structured problem-solving including Root Cause Analysis
    • Clear problem-solving capability with data-driven, systematic approaches to finding solutions.
    • Positive interpersonal skills, highly energetic, and self-motivated, and able to lead cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to meet commitments and deliver results.
    • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities to meet business needs.

US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of a government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of equipment used in the manufacture of semiconductors and/or advanced aging.
  • Certified auditor to one or more of the following standards ISO 13485, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS 9100.

OR

  • Understanding of the Calibration and Internal Audit-related sections of the ISO 9001 standard.
  • FMEA (design, process, product, etc.) knowledge preferred.

The annual salary range for this role is $66,480 - $99,720. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
