Dewberry is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Quality Assurance Specialist in our Orlando, FL office to grow and strengthen our transportation group. Responsibilities
  • Interface directly with Maintenance Staff at transportation agency clients and provide them information in a thorough and organized manner
  • Review Contractor submittals on behalf of transportation agency clients for generators, A/C units, fire suppression systems, electrical system inspections, roof inspections etc.
  • Track service records for each of these items
  • Perform Quality review of Contractor monthly submittals typically submitted with invoices
  • Perform weekly field Quality Assurance checks of a random sampling of items submitted as completed by Contractors
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work cooperatively as part of a high-performing team
  • Ability to use Microsoft office suite software (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • Ability to drive to and perform in-field quality assurance inspections on a weekly basis
  • General working knowledge of (or the ability to quickly learn) generator systems, A/C systems, Electrical and Fire suppression Systems
  • High school diploma is required, bachelors degree preferred
  • Trade school or community college diploma/certification, and/or experience with one or more of these mechanical systems, is preferred
