The PositionAs a Quality Control Technician , you will conduct routine and non-routine analysis, including but not limited to biochemical and chemical analysis, of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products according to established operating procedures.
Compiles data for documentation of test procedures that may include stability program testing and formulation studies. Calibrates and maintains lab and analytical equipment. Participates in the preparation of investigations, summaries, and reports.
Reviews data obtained for compliance with specifications and reports abnormalities. Revises and updates standard operating procedures as needed. May perform special projects on analytical and instrument problem-solving.
May develop testing and analysis methods and procedures by established guidelines.
The Opportunity:
Performs analyses of raw materials, packaging materials, and bulk, intermediate, and finished products from other sections of quality control, chemical manufacturing, and manufacturing. Ensures that all products received meet established quality standards and requirements.
Determines conformance to specifications for a particular physical, performance, or chemical property. Compiles data and results for documentation of test procedures.
Assignments are routine to semi-routine in nature.
Calibrates and maintains lab equipment as needed.
Revises and updates standard operating procedures as needed.
May participate in a project team to deliver more strategic initiatives, under moderate supervision.
May train newer team members on applicable methods and procedures.
Competencies:
Specialized knowledge is generally of a particular area, system, or equipment. Requires specific training and/or certification. Applies some advanced skills to the position or specialization.
Works under moderate supervision and is independently able to follow standard procedures to accomplish tasks.
Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Who you are:
High School Diploma with 3 years related experience, Associates Degree in a technical or related field with 1 year related experience, or a Bachelors Degree in a technical or related field.
Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics or a related field.

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Indianapolis , is 40,900.00 - 75,900.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
