FUNCTION: Responsible for performing more complex quality audits, analyzing results, providing evaluative feedback to management, and suggesting recommendations to improve the overall quality performance of the department. Audits are completed in accordance with company policies, company procedures, and department standards.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Performs more complex quality audits of department employees in accordance with company policies, company procedures, and department standards.
- Responsible for performing more complex quality audits on client data, including but not limited to, line item platinum and EDI invoices, unit of measure (UOM), and usage and rate code data fields to improve overall process performance.
- Analyzes audit results to identify trends and/or issues, provides evaluative feedback to management, and suggests recommendations to improve overall quality performance and processing efficiencies.
- Researches and responds to quality issues as received from internal and external sources and makes paper, EDI and quality control website corrections as appropriate.
- Organizes and distributes work to key from image (KFI) operators and responds to questions.
- Develops and generates various reports including monthly quality audit reports, statistical samples, audit and maintenance logs, and other required reporting.
- Corrects quality issues found during the audit by performing system maintenance of records.
- Provides training and continuous improvement support materials to appropriate individuals.
- Improves overall quality and efficiency of audit workflow processing through interactions with other departments and external resources.
- Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with client standards and Cass policies and procedures.
- Works overtime as required by management.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of utility processing procedures and standards.
- Strong analytical, oral, and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, maintain a positive attitude, and be self-motivated.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with experience in data manipulations is preferred.
MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING NORMALLY REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of processing experience in an industry with comparable characteristics as Cass.
