Temporary Digital Quality Assurance Analyst

As a Digital Quality Assurance Analyst , you will perform cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-device testing on a variety of digital products. As a member of the Moore Digital team, the Digital QA Analyst tests digital products for functionality, compatibility, content, and tracking implementation, reporting all quality issues discovered, and the steps to recreate them, clearly and succinctly. The ideal candidate has an extreme eye for detail and finds great satisfaction in uncovering problems and defects.

Please note that this is a temporary position, slated for 5 months.

Your Impact:

  • Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-device testing on a wide range of digital products, including emails, landing pages, donation pages, lightboxes, websites, A/B optimization testing projects, banners, and social media campaigns.
  • Methodically test digital products for bugs, typos, misspellings, inconsistencies, and other defects to maintain a high level of quality across digital deliverables.
  • Test digital products for functionality, browser and device compatibility, and user experience issues.
  • Report and describe bugs/issues and the steps to recreate them in minute detail.
  • Identify tracking, SEO, and accessibility issues (where appropriate) during the QA process.
  • Work with the Director, Digital Operations to establish QA processes and protocols.
  • Maintain master checklist of QA test items per digital product for the agency and individual clients as needed.
  • Periodically evaluate most popular web browsers, devices, operating systems, and email clients, and make recommendations for minimum browser/device/OS development support requirements.
  • Work closely with development team to demonstrate and remediate issues.
  • Prepare test cases and use cases as needed.
  • Champion quality assurance best practices across the agency.

Your Profile:

  • 1+ years of experience testing responsive digital projects, such as emails, landing pages, lightboxes, and websites.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule 2 days per week out of our Lanham, MD office.
  • Experience with Google Analytics implementation, reporting and/or interpretation a plus.
  • Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Developer tools a plus.
  • Experience or basic knowledge of email and/or browser testing platforms (Email on Acid, Litmus, BrowserStack) a plus.
  • Experience with project management/collaboration/productivity tools (Workfront, Asana, Trello) a plus.
  • Experience with issue/bug tracking tools such as Jira a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with Email Service Provider Platforms (Marketo, Luminate, Engaging Networks, Emma, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) a plus.
  • Working understanding of the digital landscape, content, information architecture and social media.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and manage time independently to meet established deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate bugs and the steps to replicate them in a clear, concise way.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to details.
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams that include digital producers, designers, developers, copywriters, and client services members.
  • Adaptability in situations where priorities, demands and timelines conflict and/or shift.
  • Commitment to delivering error-free work and high-quality customer service to clients.
  • Passion for finding bugs and delivering high quality digital projects.
