As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) you influence I&C/Electrical
equipment supplier decisions and work with suppliers to develop them in
alignment with Siemens Energy's needs for capacity, capability, and cost. You
excel in a diverse team of engineers, fully bringing to bear the expertise of
both the team and you.
**How Youll Make an Impact**
+ Be the point of contact for theI&C / Electrical equipment Global Commodity Manager in developingprocurement strategies and project planning, supplier identification,capability assessment audits, driving standards and bringing in newI&C / Electrical equipment related technology; Typical products areThermocouples, LV Motors, Switchgears, Battery Storage Solutions etc.Siemens Energy implements a wide range of different products withworldwide applied codes and standards.
+ Lead a distributed team of SupplyQuality Engineers in collaborative learning and training.
+ Supplier / Product and ProcessQualification: Mostly be the technical Lead, and sometimes the main lead,in multi-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification(PPQ). Leading involves planning, tracking, and reporting projectachievements, along with budget and resource requirements.
+ Be a key expert in improving anddeveloping strategic Suppliers and supporting critical technical issues bybeing a creator and owner of a commodity/technology network.
**What You Bring**
+ Bachelors or masters degree orequivalent experience in electrical, industrial engineering or a similarfield.
+ 3+ years of experience insupplier quality management, procurement, I&C / Electricalenvironment or in a related role.
+ Experience performing supplierqualification, product/ process qualification & technical supplierdevelopment to provide a global quality-assured and cost-effective supplybase.
+ Experience in leading projectsand running virtual multi-functional teams in an internationalenvironment.
+ Willingness to travel up to 20%(Domestically & International).
+ Excellent proficiency in writtenand spoken English.
