Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Compliance Department supporting various compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Compliance Analyst

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: $50-$60/hour, w2

What's the Job?

  • Conducting Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on clients in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitoring and investigating alerts generated by the Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) and reporting suspicious activities.
  • Reviewing and dispositioning sanctions alerts and making recommendations regarding potential sanctions issues.
  • Assisting in the periodic risk assessment process related to BSA/AML and Sanctions risks.
  • Performing compliance testing and quality assurance to identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities in control processes.

What's Needed?

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of working experience in compliance required.
  • CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) Certification is preferred.
  • Strong speaking and writing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize among different tasks and demonstrate project management skills.
