responsibilities:
- Perform complex inspections of components and assemblies, including GD&T interpretation and Vision System Analysis
- Lead and execute First Article Inspections (FAI), process validations, and engineering studies
- Document inspection results and test data accurately and promptly in inspection records and digital applications.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain inspection records and ensure proper documentation in compliance with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous quality.
qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of experience in quality inspection within a regulated industry
- Demonstrated expertise with measurement equipment, GD&T, and documentation systems
- Medical device experience highly desirable
- Advanced understanding of inspection and calibration principles and familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Associates or bachelor's degree in technical or scientific field strongly preferred
