Quality Control Technician III

responsibilities:

• Perform complex inspections of components and assemblies, including GD&T interpretation and Vision System Analysis
• Lead and execute First Article Inspections (FAI), process validations, and engineering studies
• Document inspection results and test data accurately and promptly in inspection records and digital applications.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure proper documentation in compliance with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous quality.

qualifications:
Required:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of experience in quality inspection within a regulated industry
• Demonstrated expertise with measurement equipment, GD&T, and documentation systems
• Medical device experience highly desirable
• Advanced understanding of inspection and calibration principles and familiarity with precision measuring instruments

Preferred:

• Associates or bachelor's degree in technical or scientific field strongly preferred
