Position Overview:
We are seeking QC Lab Technician I candidates to join our team at a leading chemical manufacturing site in Cincinnati. These are full-time, onsite roles ideal for individuals with lab experience in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical environments. Recent graduates with relevant education are encouraged to applywe will train the right candidate.

Chemical technology, chemistry, biology
Wastewater treatment labs
Oil & gas, lubricants, petrochemical or R&D labs
Industrial chemical manufacturing
Note: Candidates from INEOS ABS may be an excellent fit. Candidates with experience at Procter & Gamble are unlikely to match the needs of this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
Associate of Science in Chemistry (or related technical field) with 5+ years lab experience in manufacturing
OR Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field (no experience required)
Other Requirements:
Must be 100% onsite
Must pass a drug screen
Education verification required upon offer acceptance
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with lab instrumentation such as:
HPLC, GC, AAS, ICP, KF Titrators, pH meters, Brookfield Viscometers
Experience in a regulated environment (ISO, RCMS)
Analytical mindset and ability to troubleshoot lab equipment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform testing of raw materials, in-process, and final product samples
Release materials based on specifications
Investigate non-conforming product issues and assist in corrective actions
Use SAP and Documentum for COA generation and documentation
Maintain lab equipment through calibration, verification, and routine maintenance
Follow EHS and Responsible Care policies, including emergency response participation
Work independently and communicate effectively with production teams
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 lbs
Pull lab cart filled with solvents ~75 yards
Change gas cylinders and help with 55-gallon waste containers
Climb stairs and work rotating shifts
