Quality Control Technician

Description

Monitor and review the inspection and daily quality control activities for incoming materials, work in-process, and final inspections and testing of finish products, to meet specification and quality standards Conduct quality assurance tests and inspections on products. Document and report any defects or issues found during inspections. Collaborate with the Quality Manager to develop and implement quality control procedures. Maintain accurate records of testing results and quality control measures. Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations. Test and process all raw materials, intermediates and finished goods samples in a timely manner. Perform QA floor audits, analysis, etc. Document test results as required by the BakeMark Bakery Products quality control testing procedures. Evaluate test results and communicating deviations from the product specifications to the QA Supervisor and operators. Collect samples: raw materials, intermediates and finished goods to submit for microbial testing and evaluation at contract labs. Data entry into various systems and spreadsheets for QA program reporting. Bake samples in lab. Perform pre-op and changeover inspections (including collecting ATP swabs) as required. Enter test data and release products in ERP (OLX) system. Segregate, and mark any non-conforming

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.70/hr.
