Candidates interested in this role who have not worked for Radial, should apply using this link: Register - HRCenter The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes during their assigned shift in a high-volume cross dock warehouse facility. This role ensures that all operations meet the company's quality standards, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, effective communication, familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Yard Management Systems (YMS), leadership of hourly employees, and providing coaching and feedback. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality standards for all warehouse operations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Identify and address any quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer specifications. Inspect products for damage, labeling errors, and packaging compliance. Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous records of quality assurance activities and findings. Ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting. Review and verify the integrity of inventory and shipments. Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies. Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between team members, management, and other departments. Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance protocols. Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and performance to management. Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to resolve quality issues in real time. Systems Familiarity: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory. Operate Yard Management Systems (YMS) to oversee the movement and storage of goods. Ensure all systems are used effectively to support quality assurance processes. People Leadership: Supervise and lead hourly employees, ensuring they understand and adhere to quality standards. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to support employee development. Address any personnel issues or conflicts promptly and professionally. Provide coaching and feedback to employees to enhance their skills and performance. Additional Responsibilities: Document and report quality issues, discrepancies, and non-conformances. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Audit pick, pack, and shipping processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality reports. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards in all QA activities. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs. Support other warehouse functions as needed and directed by supervisors. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience in quality assurance within a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with WMS and YMS systems. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing hourly employees. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to read and interpret packing slips, labels, and quality standards. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
