About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Quality Control Technician to join our growing team. This position is integral to maintaining high standards in the fabrication and assembly of components for oilfield and offshore construction projects.

As a QC Technician, youll be on the front lines of our quality assurance process, ensuring that all materials and fabricated components meet stringent specifications and industry codes.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform material intake inspections, verifying quantities, sizes, and ratings against project documentation.

Measure and inspect fabricated components to ensure conformance to specifications.

Track and document weld numbers, heat numbers, and material traceability.

Maintain organized and accurate inspection records and reports.

Work closely with production and welding teams to ensure compliance with project and code requirements.

Requirements:
Must be physically capable of lifting materials and performing inspections in active construction environments.

Proficient with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.).

Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, material specs, and job documentation.

Experience in tracking traceability data for materials and welds.

Ability to work independently and maintain focus on quality standards under pressure.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications (a plus, but not required):
Knowledge of welding processes and procedures.

Familiarity with ASME, API, and AWS codes and standards.

Prior experience in a welding, fabrication, or inspection role.
