Quality Control Technician Job Description As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Manufacturing Quality team. Your responsibilities will include completing essential quality activities and facilitating Material Review Board (MRB) tasks. Responsibilities Facilitate MRB activities efficiently. Review production materials requiring troubleshooting or rework. Track and communicate remediation and quality activities regularly. Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and training sessions to maintain professional competence. Ensure compliance with department guidelines. Engage in customer-focused interactions. Perform duties according to department policies and procedures. Execute additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice. Essential Skills Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to use precision measuring tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills. Basic mechanical aptitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Work Environment The role predominantly operates in an office or warehouse environment. Employees typically sit comfortably to perform their duties, interspersed with brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books. Extensive periods require the use of computers to accomplish work objectives. You will be required to sit and use your hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard. Additional skills may be needed to perform specific tasks related to the work location, department, or line of business. The ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and roll carts is essential. Some work, less than 20%, involves moving and lifting materials under 25 pounds. Job Type & Location This is a Contract-to-hire position based out of Bothell, Washington.
