QC Laboratory Technician

Job Description

As a QC Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through various laboratory and quality control functions. This position involves performing microbiological and analytical testing, supporting food safety programs, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication with production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform microbiological analysis of products, water, and environment to support sanitation and HACCP programs.
  • Accurately collect samples for product testing, including energy drinks and water samples.
  • Conduct analytical testing on energy drinks, assessing factors such as CO2 levels, pH, brix, and more.
  • Perform titratable acidity and HPLC analysis for caffeine and preservative levels in products.
  • Ensure accuracy of measuring devices through proper calibration.
  • Record and document results from product analyses meticulously.
  • Validate batching sheets, ingredient labels, and specifications before sign-off.
  • Communicate with production teams to support QA functions.
  • Pull finished goods samples for analytical and customer testing.
  • Perform QA line checks every four hours during the shift.
  • Review GMPs and adherence to food safety standards in production.
  • Check equipment temperatures and calibrations with supporting documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in biology and chemistry.
  • 2 years experience in food quality or an AA/BA/BS in a scientific discipline.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
