Quality Control Specialist

Vertex Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Assistant to join our logistics operations team. In this role, you will assist in inspecting and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and proper handling. This is a remote position involving occasional package handling from your location, with coordination through our logistics platform. Responsibilities Receive and inspect shipment boxes at your address Count and verify items based on shipment lists Report any discrepancies or damages Repackage items securely for pickup Coordinate with our logistics partner (e.g., FedEx or UPS) for outgoing deliveries Maintain accurate records of inspections Qualifications Must be 18+ years old Must have a clean and safe space to temporarily hold small-to-medium boxes Strong attention to detail and good communication skills Reliable internet and phone access Able to lift packages up to 25 lbs
