Quality Control Technician

Quality Control Technician Location: Dracut, MA Starting Salary: $20/hour Hours: 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician : Responsible for the inspection of sheet metal parts and machined parts. Must be able to interpret and inspect GD&T standards. Experience in R D prototype inspection & failure analysis. Maintain continuous communication between Quality Control, Purchasing, Production, and Planning. Quality Issues must be escalated as required to meet customer satisfaction. Function as the gate' for all products entering and or leaving the facility. All nonconforming products entering the building must be immediately rejected. All nonconforming products leaving the building must be contained and corrected so they leave correctly. Use a wide variety of test instruments and equipment to measure values and record the functional operation of components Assist with writing and reviewing ISO 9001 documentation. Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions Use standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test fixtures, and visual coordinate measuring machines (Keyence LM & XM systems). Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements of the Quality Control Technician: High School Diploma 1 + years' related experience in a similar manufacturing environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO process controls is preferred Knowledge of Inventory Control Practices is helpful Good basic math skills Strong communication skills High attention to detail Quality Control Technician Location: Dracut, MA Starting Salary: $20/hour Hours: 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday
