Reliability Engineer II

Location: Kearny, Arizona, United States

Type: Temp to Perm, Full-Time | On-Site

If you're driven by diagnostics, precision under pressure, and thrive in complex, real-world environments, this role is for you. We're hiring a Reliability Engineer II to lead asset reliability and predictive maintenance. You’ll be embedded in frontline operations, owning reliability strategies that directly impact safety, uptime, and performance.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Collect, analyze, and report data using:
  • Vibration analysis
  • Infrared thermography
  • Tribology
  • Ultrasonics
  • Motion amplification and dye penetrant testing
  • Conduct failure analysis and drive improvements using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
  • Manage and optimize vibration databases, alarm sets, and condition monitoring systems.
  • Plan and manage maintenance tasks using SAP CMMS.
  • Build reports and reliability performance dashboards using tools like Excel and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
  • Lead and support root cause analyses on major equipment failures.
  • Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders across functions and levels.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or related STEM field.
  • 2+ years in reliability engineering or 4+ years in maintenance, engineering, or project planning.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on vibration data collection and analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of mining/process equipment such as mills, crushers, pumps, haul trucks, and shovels.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and CMMS platforms. Experience with Power BI and Machinery Health Manager is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

Worksite Conditions

  • Field-based role at an active mining and processing site.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, mechanical and electrical hazards.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, platforms, and rough terrain.
  • Personal protective equipment is required.
