Quality Inspector Job Description We are seeking a diligent Quality Inspector responsible for ensuring that first article inspections are completed by operators. The role requires proficiency in blueprint reading, conducting incoming inspections, moisture testing, visual inspections, and utilizing measurement tools such as pin gauges, calipers, and XRF equipment. Responsibilities Conduct first article inspections to ensure compliance with standards. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Perform incoming inspections on materials and products. Carry out moisture testing and visual inspections. Utilize measurement tools such as pin gauges, calipers, and XRF devices for accurate quality assessments. Essential Skills Proficient in quality control, assurance, and inspection processes. Strong skills in visual inspection and moisture testing. Experience with measurement tools such as gauges, calipers, and XRF. Ability to read blueprints or possess strong math skills. Computer skills are essential, with SAP experience as a plus. 4+ years of experience in manufacturing quality. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. Work Environment Work in an air-conditioned facility equipped with a separate air filtration system and 19 machines. The role involves considerable walking. As the only Quality Inspector on this shift, you will work independently, requiring excellent communication skills. There are no annual reviews, but regular one-on-one evaluations are conducted, and raises are based on contribution efforts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
