Quality Engineering Manager

Our manufacturing client is seeking a direct hire, Quality Engineering Manager to join their team. This person would be a part of initiatives to reduce NCRs, reduction in inspection, and auditing. This would be located in the Chicago, IL area.

Job Title: Quality Engineering Manager

Location: Chicago, IL 60638

Pay Range: $135K-$150K Yearly + Bonus

**Must be US Citizen OR Green Card Holder Status**

Whats the Job?

• Responsible for management and/or oversight of product quality and quality systems such as annual quality reviews, change control, and quality agreements to ensure conformance with applicable aerospace requirements such as ISO and AS9100 certifications as well as Customer and industry specific requirements
• Prepares for and represents the company during all ISO / AS9100, NADCAP, and related audits
• Oversee internal audit program
• Maintain the facilitys Corrective and Preventative Action System
• Must be onsite 100%

Whats Needed?

• Bachelors Degree
• Aerospace or Automotive industry experience required!
• NADCAP experience/understanding
• 5+ years in a Quality Engineering role. 3+ years in a leadership role in an Aerospace or Automotive environment.
• Must be able to be onsite 100% of the time.
