Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Powder Testing Process Control Technician who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to the Powder Testing Lab Supervisor. Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist Production, Quality, Research and Engineering personnel in maintaining mix control and in problem prevention.
- Set up and operate all testing equipment at home location.
- Compare test results to mix requirements and call attention to exceptions.
- Gather samples, collect data and record results.
- Interpret Inspection Plans.
- Perform departmental maintenance as required.
- Assist in developing procedures and training new personnel.
- Work compatibly with all associated departments.
- Prioritize work based on departmental guidelines.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Manage usage of reprocess material, old or out of spec mixes.
- Be able to supply mix department with mix recipes in the absence of a supervisor.
- Make necessary decisions in absence of supervisor.
- Receive raw materials in ERP system.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision.
- Able to read and understand written documents and procedures.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, use math formulas and solve basic equations.
- Have an understanding of decimals, fractions, percentages and averages.
- Able to legibly record process/product data and records.
- Show basic computer skill to enter and interpret data.
- Basic understanding of spreadsheets and databases.
