TMI thrives on the development of custom engineered metal solutions for our customers' most demanding requirements.  We have an open opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to manage TMI’s Quality Management System for product quality and process control.  This role will manage TMI’s Quality Team to continuously improve product yields for the Inlay, EBWeld, Solder, Milling units and reduce complaints and returns, as well as TMI’s final test laboratory and 8D Corrective Action System and reports.Responsibilities:Manage the Quality Management System for product quality and process control. Lead the Quality Team to continuously improve product yields, as well as reduce customer complaints and returns. Manage ISO 9001 requirements including document control and IMDS requests. Manage 8D Corrective Action System & Reports. Communicate with supplier and customer quality organizations via email, phone, conference calls and travel as necessary. Ensure the requirements of the established Quality Management System are maintained throughout TMI. Assure the Quality System supports TMI growth strategy through team development of long range plans for Quality System modification, adaptation, and integration with particular emphasis on information, and data management and analysis. Requirements:Experience with the production floor application of statistical process control methods. Familiar with ASTM Standards, ISO 9001 requirements, Automotive Standards (259000 and TS 16949) Good project management skills with ability to manage time & set priorities Good computer skills including use of Microsoft Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Familiarity with PPAPs, capability studies, GR&R, Minitab Software Education and ExperienceTechnical Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or one of the Physical Sciences.  Metallurgy preferred.
