Job Title: QA Manager Company: Will-N-Able Location: Dover, NH Description: Position SummaryThe Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing quality assurance team(s) for assigned projects. Duties include testing processes to quantify the evolving quality of software with Client's products and services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and releasing software, including estimating, planning, and identifying tasks; organizing resources; managing scope/risk/issues; and following priorities to accomplish goals. The Quality Assurance Manager must work as part of a cross-functional team in conjunction with other group managers to coordinate, define, and develop quality software. Additional responsibilities include the following: * Create and maintain test plans for all the software the team develops and services. * Define all functions of the QA group: test approach, test strategy and methodology, resource requirements (staff, hardware, software, etc.), and test schedules. * Hire, supervise, train, and mentor QA engineers and specialists. * Lead software testing by assigning and monitoring test activities. * Perform scripting for both regression and load-automated tests. * Create and monitor QA schedules in conjunction with development and release schedules. * Maintain bug-reporting system. * Maintain, update, and advise QA status to the director. * Develop, implement, and adhere to QA policies and procedures. * Work cross-functionally to promote a quality-driven development culture. * Work with product and development teams to optimize release process. * Document application issues and solutions.Qualifications * Bachelor*s degree with a minimum of six years of quality assurance experience, including the use of automated Web software testing tools and design of software/application test labs; or ten years of quality assurance experience, including the use of automated Web software testing tools and design of software/application test labsThis is a direct hire position and the client is unable to sponsor H1B visas
