217572-052 Job Description Under the supervision of the Quality Manager and Quality Supervisor perform Quality Assurance functions to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and protocol. Perform daily donor record file review. Perform equipment quality control review daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual. Return equipment to service. Perform weekly review of equipment incident logs. Verification and release of sample shipment. Staging plasma shipment. Inspection of incoming supplies. Weekly employee observations. Required Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Personnel Source, Inc. is looking for an experienced QA Tech. Position will be Full-time Seasonal through October. This position assists the QA Coordinator with the daily activities associated with assurance of raw material and product quality. ? Responsible for daily raw material and product testing. Including set up of sensory panel, moistures, color, particle size, etc. under direction from the QA Coordinator. ? Responsible for sample inventory, packaging for shipment and shipping product samples to customer. Maintains sampling documentation and inventory. ? Maintains product retention samples inventory. ? Manages retention samples, including data entry. ? Works with Warehouse assuring proper raw material staged for production use. ? Works with QA Manager to assure proper and timely disposition of held and obsolete materials. ? Assists QA Coordinator with re-labeling product and tracking movements. ? Assists with GMP training; day in, day out and during pre-season corn meetings. ? Special projects as assigned by the QA Manager and/or QA Coordinator. Job Range Working primarily in the Laboratory with associated duties in the plant as outlined above. Must work together with other departments to promote team-based solutions to problems. Works cross-functionally assuring accuracy of product records. Minimum Qualifications Must have demonstrated abilities in written and oral communication with excellent spelling, attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to perform general office duties. Must have competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail. Must be able to perform arithmetic functions. The person in this position must have ability to prioritize, follow-through on multiple tasks and work in a safe, efficient manner; abiding by all safety related policies and procedures. Physical Requirements Office: considerable use of hands and fingers; some lifting required. Must be able to use computers and telephones. Plant: must be able to perform some light industrial activities including, bending, and lifting up to 50 lb. Some climbing of stairs and working in wet and/or cold environments.
