Description:
Quality Assurance Specialist HLP Solutions has partnered with this leading manufacturer of production equipment for the oil and gas industry to offer this immediate contract position in South OKC. Job description: Use standard Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer, Power Point, etc. to review and organize documentation, drawings, and specifications as well as maintain an organized data base of these materials. Makes simple decisions but refers most all questions/problems to Supervisors. Must be very organized with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. Associate's degree preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: -Work with engineers and customers to determine documentation needed for each unit -Contact and work with suppliers to receive needed documentation in a timely manner. -Associate documents with units and store documentation in an organized and standardized manner. -Review documentation to determine compliance to standards. -Responsible for setting up and maintaining an organized file system for Production Drawings. -Produce manuals from documentation for inspection by customers or 3rd parties. -Keep Manuals organized and up-to-date. -Obtain information and manuals on new and existing parts. -Communicate with Safety, QC, Engineering, and Manufacturing regarding new and revised prints. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: -Minimum of an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. -Ability to write routine reports, operating instructions and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers or employees of organization. -Ability to work with simple mathematical concepts for work in such programs as Excel. -Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations as well as conversion to different measurement standards. -Ability to solve problems regarding the interpreting technical data into an easily understandable form. -Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. -Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer, Power Point, etc.). -Ability to learn new software as needed.
