Job Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Description:
Duties: Analyze and validate the software requirements, design documents and workflows of various modules of the system. Perform smoke, functional i.e. frontend testing (OLTP application testing) and backend testing, batch, data migration, regression, end to end (Interface) testing and assist in user acceptance testing. Develop test strategy. Develop and execute test cases with test data and test conditions and document test results. Create and execute automation scripts to eliminate laborious repetitive steps in test case execution. Develop SQL, PL/SQL scripts. Assist QA team members in maintaining regression testing scripts. Analyze application and webserver logs to troubleshoot issues/defects. Analyze and report test problems/failures and defects with root cause if possible to the Development/Infrastructure Support Teams. Report and track defects/bugs. Retest defect/bug fixes. Define testing scope of the projects and estimate efforts required. Apply risk based approach for contingency testing. Configure new GUI based application to create new test environment. Maintain and perform testing in QA and UAT environment. Independently participate on company projects and complete all QA tasks. Support other divisional staff as they perform QA testing. Train new or junior level QA team members. Minimum education required: Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related technical field.Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or related experience.Skills required: Must have experience with data warehousing and relational database concepts, technologies and tools; must have experience with Unix, SQL, OLTP applications (PeopleSoft), shell scripting, Test Director (now known as Quality Center), Quick Test Pro; must have knowledge of Agile/Sprint software development methodologies.
