Overview:   The Quality Assurance Analyst will work to certify and support QSR software releases and hardware products, as well as test and support product integrations with partner applications and hardware.    Working directly with the QSR Engineering team, providing feedback on product functionality and reliability, the Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for all certifications of QSR software applications as well as third party integrated applications. The Quality Assurance Analyst also provides configuration and installation support for new applications and releases to QSR’s Technical Support team, customers, and partners.     Key Responsibilities:   The Quality Assurance Analyst performs the following tasks: Test, validate and certify the functionality and reliability of all QSR software applications and third party integrations.    Maintain and monitor defect tracking software, reports, and software release documentation. Provide the QSR Engineering team with timely and accurate information on all software issues and functional requests. Provide training and support on new applications and releases to the QSR Technical Support staff.  Maintain functional lab systems for product testing and troubleshooting, requiring excellent knowledge of QSR’s hardware platforms as well as a variety of partner POS platforms. Assist with product documentation for end users and partners. Maintain setup and configuration information for all partner and middleware applications.   Requirements and Desired Traits:   Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in oral and written format. Team player with the ability to multi-task and self direct, as well as work effectively with personnel in remote locations. Excellent work ethic Well organized, logical thinker, possessing great attention to detail. Experience troubleshooting, installing, and configuring TCP/IP networks in a Microsoft Windows environment. Prior experience with QSR products or restaurant / hospitality POS systems. Prior experience in a software testing or support role. Restaurant operations experience a plus. Associates degree, technical education or QA certification preferred but not required.
