Job Title: Quality Assurance Admin Company: Joule Staffing Service Location: Roseland, NJ Description: We are currently searching for an experienced Quality Assurance Admin to work on a 6-months special project for our client in Roseland. Pay is $17/hr. Schedule is Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm. Please see job description below. Position Summary: Effectively evaluate and implement the Quality Assurance programs related to SQF Code 2000 to assure compliance to the guidelines. Major Responsibilities:Using the SQF 2000 self-assessment checklist conduct a gap analysis of this facility. Amend the current quality systems to meet the requirements of the SQF 2000 Code and implement any changes required to be compliant. This includes but is not limited to: - Document control and records - Specifications and product development records - Training of personnel on all shifts on changes. - HACCP plans - SOPs and SSOPs - Food Safety Fundamentals building and equipment - Site security Develops or recommends development of procedures, policies, and process controls to assure products meet the established specifications and/or objectives as related to SQF code. Excellent skills with a networked business environment, email, MS Word and Excel Proven ability with English spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax and composition rules and a clear business/technical writing style Interaction with various departments to update or develop SOPs, job descriptions, training instructions, contracts, etc. Technical Knowledge/Skills/Experience:Bachelor's Degree with 1 -2 years experience in food manufacturing preferred or 3 -5 years of equivalent work experience in quality and IT fields. Experience:1-2 years in food manufacturing with degree or 3-5 years in food manufacturing without degree Skills:MUST have experience with quality control standards, HACCP, specifications, standard operating procedures, auditing and training.
