Job Title: QC Lab Technician Company: Location: Phoenix, AZ Description: Busy Natural Health Company has an immediate position open for a Quality Control Technician. The current position is based out of our 36,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Tempe, Arizona. For more than 15 years, our company has provided premium quality dietary supplements to Domestic and International Distributors, Retailers and Doctors. All candidates must be dependable, professional, have a positive attitude and a solid work history. The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for the raw material and finished goods inspection and testing on the following equipment: FT-IR, TLC, HPLC and incubators (microbial analysis). This team player will have a strong quality background and will perform a wide variety of inspections, testing and sampling procedures. Major Duties and Responsibilities: ? Ensuring compliance with internal SOP?s and FDA regulations. ? Perform incoming testing of raw materials, plastic components, injection molded components, labels, packaging items, tubing, and other raw material components. ? Perform and document cleaning inspections following approved SOP?s for sanitation/cleaning processes. ? Document the results of inspections; evaluate defects and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action. ? Help guarantee lot traceability of raw materials thru to consumers. ? Process customer returns, assist with adverse event reporting and respond to customer complaints. ? Revise and construct SOPs. ? Participate in improving internal QA systems, makes recommendations for continuous improvements within the department. Applies knowledge of Quality System Regulations (cGMP) on a daily basis. Requirements KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY ? Must be a leader. ? REQUIRED: Must have working knowledge of, and an ability to write methods for, microbial testing, FT-IR, HPLC and TLC. ? Experience with following SOP?s, ATP quick swab, and moisture analysis testing. ? Experience in an analytical lab with-in a cGMP environment. ? Ability to work independently and with a Team ? Must be able to be adaptable and flexible. ? Excellent Communication/Presentational Skills. ? Excellent documentation and record keeping skills. ? Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook and SysPro) ? Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. ? Education 2-3 years of QC lab support, high school diploma.
