Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor Company: Markent Personnel Location: Wausau, WI Description: Location: North Central, Wisconsin - near Wausau. This is a nonunion company. The company offers a comprehensive benefits and a negotiable relocation package. This new position is open because of a major expansion of plant operations. Will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.RESPONSIBILITY: As the First Shift Quality Supervisor you will oversee a staff of 3 other technicians and provide them with technical assistance and expertise. Responsibilities include: Gathering and preparing samples for lab analysis, do shelf-life studies, direct and coordinate plant quality compliance to all specifications including QCMS (Quality Control and Monitoring System), HACCP, USDA and GMP guidelines. REQUIREMENTS: Prefer a BS or AA degree in a life science and 2 plus years Quality Control experience in a food processing environment.
