Job Title: Quality Control supervisor Company: MRINetwork Location: Nashville, TN Description: National food processing co with over 12 plants in the US. The co has doubled it's sized in the last ten yrs and will offer a great opt for growth and stability. This plant has just completed a major expansion and employees about 200 people. The plant runs three shifts and rotates week ends.The position will report to the Quality Control Manager and supervise a crew of seven techs. Will be responsible for all training, scheduling, monitor all HACCP procedures, work with the team on plant audits and interact with national accounts. The position will offer a great opt for growth at the plant level or corp level.The co needs a good hands on supervisor or lead with two yrs experience in the food processing industry. Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor Company: Memphis Contract Packaging Location: Somerville, TN Description: Memphis Contract Packaging, Inc., a manufacturer of cosmetics, toiletries and personal care products located in Somerville, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced Quality Control Supervisor. Quality Control Supervisor Responsibilities Include: •Supervise the quality control group in the packaging department to ensure final packaged quality through appropriate testing and auditing •Create a continuous improvement environment •Motivate team members and develop teamwork •Coordinate activities with 3 to 5 quality control auditors •Guide, train and evaluate quality control auditors •Record and report employee attendance •Ability to work in a team and exhibit excellent communication skills •Exhibit positive employee relations/team building Qualifications/Education/Training: Degree or equivalent supervisory experience and a minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing plant required. Experience with personal care or liquid filled products is desirable. ASQ certification or experience in an FDA regulated environment is a plus. Proven leadership skills and training are a plus.
