Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor Company: Location: Albuquerque, NM Description: Well-established, multi-state Moving & Storage Company seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to direct quality control processes for Albuquerque production staff. Quality Control Supervisor will report directly to the Branch Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - New employee orientation and training - Maintain employee files and required employment documentation - Oversee branch DOT compliance and equipment maintenance - Assist with dispatching of crews - Initiate and manage job site quality controls, offer recommendations for improvement and measure improvement - Initiate and manage warehouse quality control checks, and recommend/oversee high standard for packing, job costing, loading and delivering services - Office responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: handling customer calls, improving customer service, faxing, typing, filing as needed, claim review and response, timecard review, assisting with online documentation, coding, maintaining organized paperwork for all office processes. A large part of this job will be the management of production employees and improvement of processes and accountability. A qualified candidate will have strong management skills, ability to make quality recommendations and promote improvement of processes. Must be driven, self-motivated and understand that success in this role will be measured by quality scores and ability to prove improvement under their supervision. Must be able to communicate goals, delegate, and manage/work well with others. Must be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Interest in the moving & storage industry is a must. Experience in this industry is preferred, but not required. Will train an ambitious individual who would like to grow with this Company. Position includes further management opportunities, benefits after 90-days. Drug test and background check required prior to start day. Drivers License required.
