CBI Group is looking for an experienced, energetic Quality Manager for our Delaware customer.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position will provide the leadership to ensure the plant’s systems and processes promote a World Class Quality culture in everything we do. This is a multi-faceted position requiring excellent process improvement, change management and communication skills. To successfully meet this goal will require frequent coordination and cooperation with other members of the Leadership Team and other functional areas in the plant, including Production Control, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Sales and Human Resources.
This position is responsible and accountable for all aspects of quality in Operations. Responsibility and accountability includes, but is not limited to, managing the ISO Registered Quality System, maintaining customer quality relationships and the facilitating enhanced quality systems internally. This also includes:
· Actively promoting safety always in all ways.
· Improving the customer service and quality performance of the plant.
· Supervising the activities of the Quality group – lab personnel and engineers.
· Developing and improving the Quality employee training programs.
· Constantly thinking of ways to improve operations and passionately supporting all plant improvement initiatives.
· Championing Operational strategies including Lean and Theory of Constraints.
· Promoting teamwork throughout the plant through words and actions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Employ a comprehensive understanding of industry and customer quality requirements to ensure that internal processes, supported by the ISO system, are in place to meet these requirements.
· Work with operators and management team to promote a “quality at the source” mindset to increase repeatability of operations, reduce costs and exceed customer quality expectations.
· Support day-to-day production floor activities along with continuous improvement projects.
· Enthusiastically participate in Management Team activities including Lean Leadership initiatives.
· Participate in development of improved plant operating systems, such as planning and procedures.
· Execute analytical process design and modeling.
· Perform comprehensive analysis of financial data to see how data relates to performance.
· Develop new production methods to maximize quality.
· Provide status reports to upper level management and assigned customers.
· Recognize outstanding employee performance on a regular basis.
· Complete evaluations for all employees.
· Formulate and maintain highest standards of housekeeping in all areas.
Requirements:
4 Years Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree; will consider Business Administration degree with appropriate experience.
ISO Quality System experience a must.
5 – 10 years experience in leading a Quality Department.
Proven results in improvement and enhancement in the quality arena.
Manufacturing environment needed.

Job Title: Construction Quality Control Manager

Quality Control Manager
Must travel to Dover AFB daily oversee QC program for 117,000sf medical laboratory for Army Core of Engineers project; job duration 15 months. Responsible for daily management and implementation of Quality Control plan, including implementation of the three phase control system, reporting, safety, reviewing, certifying and managing submittals, LEED, & other project documentation.
Requirements/Qualifications: Graduate Eng/Arch/CM or Engineer Tech w/2 yrs college minimum and ICC Certified (Commercial Bldg. Inspector) with 5 yrs min construction experience. A strong Mechanical background and Quality Control experience is a must!
