Work closely with General Managers, Division Managers and Program Managers across the company to implement contract-compliant quality management programs subsequent to new contract awards, including metric collection and reporting and monthly dashboard monitoring. Direct all aspects of Stanley's ISO 9001:2008 program including processes and procedures, documentation, internal and external audits, corrective/preventative /improvement actions and management reviews. Direct all aspects of Stanley's Lean Six Sigma program to include training of LSS black belts and green belts; establishing a corporate-wide LSS organization; coordination of LSS-trained employees across business units as needed to address productivity improvement objectives. Conduct Kaizen events to diagram workflow and processes, apply results and benefits to demonstrate Stanley's understanding and proactive approach to performance improvement and customer cost savings. Identify, market, pursue and win new business involving the use and application of quality disciplines embraced by Stanley. Oversee the monitoring of quality assurance systems, policies, processes, procedures and controls ensuring that performance and quality of products conform to established company, contract, international (ISO) and governmental regulatory standards and agency guidelines, and to ensure lasting customer satisfaction. Plan and manage the execution of scheduled corporate quality system audits to assess compliance with customer and internal requirements. Maintain appropriate metrics to measure, track and report performance and effectiveness of the corporation's QMS program in serving internal and external customers. Provides regular status briefings to executive leadership. Recruit, hire, train, develop and monitor the performance of QMS professionals across the corporation. Provide input for and or perform employee performance reviews and make salary recommendations for quality management staff. Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting governmental regulations, agency guidelines and other industry standards to ensure compliance and integration with Stanley's QMS. Lead or support special quality projects that may be demanded by operational need. Develop and implement a QMS communications strategy to establish and sustain a high-level of employee awareness of quality objectives, issues and activities. Administer the QMS rewards program which recognizes employees making significant quality-related contributions to their customers, contracts, divisions, groups or departments. In support of acquisitions, conduct due diligence investigations and manage wholly owned subsidiary quality-related activities as appropriate, e.g., contract novations and integration of personnel, programs and policies as applicable. Prepare and execute the Annual Operating Plan for the corporate Quality Management Department and the Quality Council. Establish relationships with quality management and standards bodies (e.g., ASQC, ISO) to maximize awareness of best practices, changing standards and to increase name recognition and visibility of Stanley. Qualifications Masters Degree in an engineering, business or organizational management discipline related to quality and a minimum of 10 years directly related work experience as a quality professional with progressively increasing responsibility in a large, multi-division, multi-location organizations required. Essential Job Functions - Eligibility for Secret Clearance required. Must be US Citizen in order to pass a suitability background check Resolves root causes of information technology incidents such as repeated software or hardware failures. Develops and oversees proactive processes that identify and resolves problems before incidents occur. Activities associated with these processes include trend analysis of repeated problems. Be familiar with techniques for identifying root causes such as the use of Ishikawa Diagrams, also known as cause and effect diagrams. Functions as a lead and provides input into the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes to meet client needs. Coordinates and facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore complex solutions. Coordinates business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provide project team member guidance/support throughout the project life cycle. Provides work guidance and mentoring to less experienced personnel. Participates and provides expertise in technical reviews. Provides time estimates for project related tasks. Prepares and delivers client and CSC reports as required. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, science, business administration or related field preferred Four or more years of experience in quality assurance Experience working with computer operations, scheduling software, and other related technologies Experience working with testing methodologies Experience working with principles of quality management, quality control, statistical analysis, ISO and six-sigma Other Qualifications Communication skills Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work Analytical and problem-solving skills; six-sigma; defect cause analysis Human relations skills to select, develop, mentor, discipline and reward employees Personal computer and business solutions software skills Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members Ability to work in a team environment Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
