Job Title: Quality Manager - Testing Center of Excellence Company: Computer Sciences Corporation Location: Portland, ME Description: CSC is seeking an experienced Quality Center of Excellence Leader tomanage the implementation of a Global CoE. This position will be responsibile fordefining the QAmethodologies and processes that will be used for the CoE, the overall project management of the implementation of the COE, including definition, tracking, reporting of project milestones, schedules, etc. and will facilitate the training and competency development of resources in the QA process methodologies. Significant international travel will be involved and demonstrated experience in leading projects of 100 resources both on-site and off-shore.Oversees the identification, analysis and documentation of defects and inconsistencies in QAprocesses, functions, systems, outputs, online screens, and content; ensures defects are corrected in a timely manner.Reviews current quality audit processes/systems; researches and implements new or improved testing methods, processes, tools and systems. Ensures systems and processes meet total quality management and industry standards and are aligned with company strategic goals.Oversees the trial and qualification of new applications, equipments, and processes against pre-defined quality standards to ensure appropriate applications are used for business processes.Develops and maintains relationships with customers; analyzes customer concerns and issues and addresses issues appropriately and promptly.Manages quality management activities for projects to ensure adherence to quality, cost and schedule parameters of the project/program.Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.
