Wind nacelle manufacturing facility in Hutchinson, KS. As part of the plant management team, the Quality Manager leads inventory management, and warehouse shipping and receiving groups for a start up plant of ~450 employees. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to lead and influence how we provide quality manufacturing operations in the Wind business. They must have a strong desire to participate in a new, exciting, and growing industry and be able to turn ambiguous situations into best practices. They must also work to inspire and motivate a staff of technical, quality and safety experts in a challenging new role. The candidate must be willing and able to participate in 3-6 months of training, of which 2-3 months may take place at technical training program at the main training facilities at the Siemens Wind Power Headquarters in Denmark. Primary Responsibilities: -Managing quality performance to improve asset management -Troubleshooting and continuous improvements within the factory -As safety is our priority, candidate must have knowledge and understanding of safety programs, as monitoring and action plans will be developed under the candidates responsibilities -Identifying process changes and implementing them together with relevant parties and according guidelines. -Managing and coaching direct reports -Responsible for creating and maintaining Key Performance Indicators for department. -Provide regular performance updates for Plant Manager and Global leaders. -Create and maintain education plans and ensure necessary level competences within the team -Sparring and identifying developmental for all personal groups and ensure high competence level in own organization via and educational plan per group and individuals. We provide full Architectural Engineering, and Construction Services. Currently we have field offices in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nevada in addition to Colorado. The Construction Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the construction, to include subcontractors and suppliers, complies with the requirements of the contract as well as other quality control duties. Coordinate as required with onsite Project Coordinators, Superintendents, Field Personnel and interfacing with clients. Duties and Responsibilities: ?Attend meetings as required to ensure project goals are met. ?Communicate effectively with designers, subcontractors, construction staff, and clients. ?Manage client and future client interactions and relations. ?Certify that all submittals and deliverables are in compliance with the contract requirements. ?Thorough understanding of interpreting specifications and contract drawings. ?Assure that all materials and/or equipment have been tested, submitted and approved. ?Physical examination of required materials and equipment to ensure they conform to approved shop drawings or submitted data, and are properly stored.
